Women Out West brings all-female lineup and touring team to regional WA
Women Out West, a music tour created, performed, and run entirely by women, will bring live music, mentoring, workshops, and community engagement opportunities to regional Western Australia this spring.
Kicking off on Friday, October 2, and running for four weeks until Sunday, November 1, the tour covers over 6,000 kilometres with dates everywhere from Broome to Bridgetown.
From managers and photographers to production crew and caterers, the tour celebrates female professionals across the industry, with live performances from Alexia Parenzee, Melody Pool and Tanya Ransom.
The tour is presented by Good Nights, who, since launching in 2015, have presented more than 500 live music events across regional Western Australia.
“It’s about creating opportunities, building confidence, and making sure women and girls in regional communities can see themselves reflected on stage and behind the scenes,” said Good Nights Director Kelsie Miller. “We want young people to know there is a place for them in this industry, no matter where they live.”
