Kool & The Gang bring the boogie down under

Kool & The Gang and Sister Sledge ft. Sledgendary are ready to boogie into Perth this year, hitting Ice Cream Factory on Wednesday, December 2.

The legendary band are a powerhouse of accolades: two-time Grammy Award winners, seven-time American Music Award winners, and inductees into both the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame and the Songwriters Hall of Fame. Their number-one Billboard chart-topper, Celebration, also earned them a place in the Grammy Hall of Fame.

Formed in the 1960s, Kool & The Gang have delivered classics like Jungle Boogie, Ladies’ Night, Fresh, and Get Down On It. Their music has stood the test of time, and they remain one of the most sampled R&B groups of all time, with their songs featured in hits by artists such as Snoop Dogg, 2Pac, The Prodigy, Wu-Tang Clan, Madonna and more.

Joining them on tour are Sister Sledge ft. Sledgendary, an R&B and disco group featuring original member Debbie Sledge. They’ll be performing some of their biggest hits, including We Are Family and He’s the Greatest Dancer.
