WA Day celebrations return with massive local music lineup
Western Australia’s annual WA Day celebrations are set to return this year with a massive local music lineup.
The free two-day WA Day Festival will take over Burswood Park from Saturday, November 22, to Sunday, November 23, featuring Jebediah, Drapht, Little Birdy, South Summit, Voyager, Smol Fish, Mariae Cassandra, Flewnt, Boox Kid, Ullah and Dolce Blue
OrchXstra will perform twice, with Lucy Durack joining as a special guest for one show and Justin Burford for the other.
The family-friendly festival will also offer a range of entertainment and attractions.
“There’s no better way to celebrate our great state than with some of our best musical talent,” Premier Roger Cook said. “I encourage Western Australians to come along to this free event and be part of this unforgettable celebration of WA music and culture.”
The festival has been rescheduled to a new time this year after last year’s June event was cancelled due to unfavourable winter weather.
