Voyager venture Through Storms And Stars with special hometown show

WA prog metal heroes and 2023 Eurovision entrants Voyager are set to return to the stage this November for a special night of music, comedy and connection with their fans.

The synth metal five-piece are set to bring their Through Storms And Stars – An Evening With Voyager Tour to Thornbury and Camperdown before wrapping up with a special homecoming show at Magnet House on Friday, November 20.

On the night, fans can expect to see a curated, unique live performance that blends performance and storytelling, with special guests to be announced.

The upcoming tour follows an extraordinary and challenging period for the band, including Voyager frontman Danny Estrin’s three-year battle with terminal cancer.

“Every show I get to play with Voyager from now on is so special,” Danny Estrin said. “To be able to do something so intimate and interactive as these three concerts is not only a celebration of music, but also a beautiful opportunity to share stories, laughs and tears with our amazing fans.”

The Through Storms And Stars – An Evening With Voyager Tour also follows news of Danny being invited as a special guest commentator for this year’s Eurovision Song Contest, presenting alongside Courtney Act for the 70th year anniversary of the contest.

Since forming in 1999, Voyager have risen from Perth’s local music scene to the international stage, performing at the 2023 Eurovision Song Contest with their hit song Promise and releasing eight full-length LPs.

Their most recent 2023 album release, Fearless In Love, charted at #1 in the Independent Albums AIR chart and #3 in the Australian Albums ARIA chart, and was the top selling Progressive Metal album on Bandcamp in the week of its release. Voyager have also secured festival slots at ProgPower USA, Euroblast Festival and WA Day Festival.
