Local drone artist Sam Atkin (Shit Narnia) has prepped his debut solo LP, Gently, Quietly, and will be launching it at Nelson St, Fremantle on Sunday, February 1, from 4.30pm. It’s an ambitious, complex suite of ambient keyboard and found sounds, recalling Oneohtrix Point Never and Tim Hecker. Support comes from Xanthea, Mitchell Freeway and Amber Fresh.
