The Sky Blues, an indie-folk band from Perth, Australia, are set to release their new single titled Outskirts. The tracks music video, as it turns out, was filmed entirely from guitarist, Ethan Reed’s, front veranda (how can you not love that).
The band have been making a name for themselves after releasing a three-track demo on Bandcamp and Triple J Unearthed back in June this year which has certainly received its fair share of positive feedback.
The single will feature on the bands soon-to-be released double A-Side salt//sand which has been described as “the boldest step in the direction of a trademark, identifiable sound for the band”. To add further to the anticipation of a new track release the band has already started writing and recording new music to followed up from Outskirts and salt//sand which is all happening in Chateau, South of France (words cannot describe the envy).
