The gospel according to British India
Following their first release of new music in eight years, Melbourne indie-rock band British India have announced a WA tour.
The four-piece, who have already kicked off their tour in the eastern states, will head to Western Australia for shows at Tambrey Tavern in Karratha on Thursday, October 9; Rosemount Hotel in North Perth on Friday, October 10; and Prince of Wales Hotel in Bunbury on Saturday, October 11.
The tour is celebrating their new single, The Gospel of Luke, which marks their first new music since 2017, as well as the studio debut of their new guitarist, Jack Tosi.
Playing on religious reverence, The Gospel of Luke is a reflection on those moments where we are forced to confront what really matters in life, with a solemn, indie-acoustic vibe that rises into a redemptive shout.
British India play Tambrey Tavern on Thursday, October 9; Rosemount Hotel on Friday, October 10; and Prince of Wales Hotel on Saturday, October 11, 2025. Tickets are on sale now from oztix.com
