Sudan Archives ups The BPM with Perth Festival headline show
Sudan Archives will bring her genre-defying fusion of R&B, hip hop, electronica and electrified violin to Perth Festival’s Main Stage at the East Perth Power Station on Sunday, March 1.
Touching down in Perth for the first time, the Cincinnati-born artist, real name Brittney Parks, arrives armed with a reputation for turning tradition on its head, transforming classical instrumentation into something futuristic, physical and built for big rooms.
Two years after her critically acclaimed, boundary-breaking album Natural Brown Prom Queen, Parks has further evolved her meld of pop, R&B, and electronic music for her newest album, The BPM, which was ranked at number four on X-Press Magazine’s Top Albums of 2025 list.
Sudan Archives joins a stacked lineup of artists performing at East Perth Power Station for Perth Festival 2026, including Morcheeba, Black Country, New Road, Nilüfer Yanya, King Stingray and more.
Sudan Archives plays at East Perth Power Station on Sunday, March 1, 2026. Tickets are on sale now from perthfestival.com
