Katy Steele announces national run of stripped-back shows with Undressed tour

Following a celebrated Australian tour with Little Birdy in 2025, Katy Steele has announced a national run of intimate shows with her Undressed tour.

Kicking off in Hobart, the tour hits Adelaide, Melbourne, Brisbane, Sydney and Canberra before wrapping up with a homecoming show at Rosemount Hotel on Friday, May 20.

With Steele performing in a multi-instrumentalist duo format, fans are told they can look forward to brand-new material alongside solo favourites, beloved Little Birdy cuts, and carefully chosen covers.

The tour aligns with the release of Steele’s new EP, Undressed, a deliberately bared-back collection inspired in part by Cat Power’s celebrated covers series. Steele has already offered a taste of the new release with a tender piano-led reading of Lou Reed’s classic Perfect Day, hinting at the vulnerability audiences can expect on the night.

Ahead of the national tour, Steele is a special guest at X-Press Magazine’s 40th anniversary celebration at the Astor Theatre on Wednesday, March 18, alongside fellow WA favourites like Kav Temperley, Gyroscope, Donna Simpson and Carla Geneve in a night honouring four decades of the magazine’s support of local music and culture.
