Story of the Year and Silverstein pack their bags for Camp Screamo

Post-hardcore groups Story of the Year and Silverstein will bring their co-headline Camp Screamo tour to Australia this summer.

The bands will open the tour in Melbourne, heading through to Sydney and Adelaide before stopping in at Metropolis Fremantle on Wednesday, February 10, and finally closing out the run in Brisbane.

The announcement follows the sold-out North American iteration of Camp Screamo, which saw the groups unite for career-spanning sets.

Story of the Year are touring in support of their latest studio album, A.R.S.O.N., which joins their stacked catalogue of early 2000s hardcore hits like Until The Day I Die, Anthem of Our Dying Day and And the Hero Will Drown. The band has been credited with building the post-hardcore scene with their 2003 debut, Page Avenue, which they brought on tour to Australia in 2024 for its 20th anniversary.

Canadian rockers Silverstein will bring 2025’s dual album Antibloom and Pink Moon with them to Camp Screamo, along with their extensive wider discography. Their records have generated over 500 million streams, with frontman Shane Told’s vocals leaving a lasting impression at the forefront of mid-2000s emo with tracks like My Heroine and Smile In Your Sleep from breakout sophomore album Discovering the Waterfront. They were last in Australia in 2025 to celebrate their 25th anniversary but did not stop by Perth on the tour.

Camp Screamo will also feature special guest Point North. The LA-based rockers played their debut live shows in Australia last year, supporting Ocean Sleeper, and have toured alongside high-profile acts including From Ashes To New, Falling In Reverse, Set It Off and Don Broco.

Story of the Year and Silverstein will bring their Camp Screamo tour to Metropolis on Wednesday, February 10, 2027. Tickets go on sale Friday, October 16 at destroyalllines.com
