From the director of All You Need Is Love and Things We Lost In The Fire, Serena is an uncompromising Depression-era drama starring Bradley Cooper and Jennifer Lawrence (in what The Guardian has called her most mature role to date). Cooper plays a young logging entrepreneur, simultaneously idealistic and ruthless (accidents keep happening in his lumber business, but hey, it’s the Depression – he’s never out of willing workers).
