RTRFM’s transforming their car park and surrounds into another Block Party for the Beaufort Street Festival on Saturday, November 15. This time, they’ve enlisted the help of Project Blak (interior designers, “upcyclers”, and rescuers of old Amsterdam chairs). The space behind Balshaw’s Florist and the former Daily Planet Cafe will be transformed into a little faux-industrial setting, complete with catering from Coopers, Hills Cider Company, Clown Fish Wines, and Smoult’s Continental Deli. Entry is, of course, free, but RTRFM warn that the car park will fill up quickly. RTRFM’s Block Party is open form 12-10pm and features sets from RTRFM darlings DJ Veeness, Kid Tsunami, Will Bixler, Jo Lettenmaier, Harvey Rae and Dennis Gedling.
