Review: Interflow’s Unemployed Hours

When X-Press Magazine reviewed Interflow’s last single, Leaving Without You, back in February, the verdict was clear: you’d be hard-pressed to find a more crunchingly infectious single this year.
That has since been proven wrong, as Interflow’s follow-up single, Unemployed Hours, appears to be the most irresistible shot of rock in their arsenal.
Vocalist Jacob Willis-Fulford booms with unbridled joy about the fun of irresponsible late nights out, while the guitars crunch and weave in a space between Angus Young and Chicago’s Terry Kath with a horn section tailgating along in the pub rock choruses.
It’s been said that the best thing for a hangover is drinking a lot the night before. Pop Unemployed Hours on the stereo to boot, and you’ll be well on your way before you get there.
