In celebration of their 25th birthday, Regurgitator have announced their Quarter Pounder tour with 21 shows (and a handful of festivals) around Australia this October and November. Perth will catch the tail end of the tour, with shows at the Astor Theatre on Friday, November 15, and Metropolis Fremantle on Saturday, November 16.
WA shows will see them joined by support acts Shonen Knife and The Fauves, both with new albums of their own this year – Shonen Knife with Sweet Candy Power and The Fauves with Driveway Heart Attack. Shonen Knife are a legendary all-girl rock trio from Japan, inspired by their favourite rock music on the 60s and 70s. Likened to a “North Queensland Cult”, The Fauves hit their popularity in the mid-90s with hits Dogs Are the Best People and Self Abuser.
Regurgitator will play The Astor on Friday, November 15, and Metropolis Fremantle on Saturday, November 16. Tickets are on sale now from the respective venues, with The Astor show available here and Metropolis Fremantle here.
