PJ Harvey swill play the first show of her Australian tour at The Fremantle Arts Centre on January 17, 2017.
Harvey released her ninth studio album The Hope Six Demolition Project on April 15, 2016, the follow up to her acclaimed Mercury Prize-winning album Let England Shake, released in 2011. Her last Australian tour was in 2012.
Harvey will bring her full 10 piece band on the tour which takes in capital cities, Perth, Adelaide, Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane.
Tickets to her Fremantle Arts Centre show on January 17 go on sale September 1 through Oztix.
