Perth fans to get the first scoop of Franz Ferdinand’s tour at Ice Cream Factory

Scottish rockers Franz Ferdinand will kick off their Australian tour in Perth this week, playing Ice Cream Factory Warehouse on Wednesday, November 26.  

The five-piece were originally scheduled to play at Red Hill Auditorium—about 40 minutes east of the city—with the venue change set to be a more convenient option for Perth-based fans.

Last touring Australia in 2018, the multi-platinum-selling band will then continue their tour with shows in Melbourne, Brisbane, Thirroul and Sydney.

Australian four-piece Teenage Dads will support at every show except Thirroul, with fellow Victorians, garage-punk band Delivery, playing every stop on the tour.

The tour comes off the back of the January release of Franz Ferdinand’s sixth studio album The Human Fear, featuring a classic Franz style with singles like Night Or Day, Audacious and Bar Lonely.
