Nik West electrifies audiences down under for Perth International Jazz Festival

US bass virtuoso Nik West is set to bring an electrifying headlining show to Metro City for Perth International Jazz Festival on Saturday, October 31, for one night only.

Joining Nik West on stage are Perth acts Odette Mercy & Her Soul Atomics, hip-hop band Pareidolia, and rappers Zero Emcee & Razzy Mak.

West is a new headline addition to this year’s Perth International Jazz Festival lineup, joining Rebirth Brass Band, AZIZA, Dee Dee Bridgewater, The Bad Plus and more as the popular annual event returns to the city from Thursday, October 22, to Sunday, November 1.

Born in Phoenix, Arizona, Nik West went from discovering the bass to becoming a Fender-endorsed artist and internationally celebrated performer. Her impressive career has seen her collaborate with some of the biggest artists, including Prince, Dave Stewart (Eurythmics), Quincy Jones, John Mayer, Santana, and many more. West has also become the first Black woman to compose for ESPN.
