New Zealand’s Marlon Williams has announced a show at The Rosemount Hotel on Tuesday, May 15 in celebration of his just-announced second album Make Way For Love, due for release on February 16.
Make Way For Love features 11 tracks led by Nobody Gets What They Want Anymore, a duet with ex-girlfriend Aldous Harding.
Williams won Best Male and Breakthrough Artist at the 2015 New Zealand Music Awards, also earning nominations for Best Blues & Roots Album at Australia’s ARIA Awards, plus a nom for the Australian Music Prize.
Now, after two solid years of touring – including stints on the road supporting Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band, festivals including Latitude, Austin City Limits, Newport Folk Festival and Pickathon – Williams makes his long-awaited return.
Joining Williams at all shows is Toronto singer/songwriter Tamara Lindeman and band, aka The Weather Station.
