CAR SEAT HEADREST Not denying Perth a sideshow

It’s our only sideshow for the huge Sydney City Limits festival to date but at least it’s one to be excited about. Car Seat Headrest will be playing their biggest Australian shows to date, taking over the Rosemount Hotel on Sunday, February 25.

Car Seat Headrest began in 2010 when 17-year-old Will Toledo started gathering his thoughts and setting up a makeshift recording studio in his family’s car. Toledo soon relocated to Seattle and recruited a band to help him play these songs of love, loss, death, drunken parties and 2nd Century theologians.

Always writing and recording, Toledo self-released tunes regularly but it wasn’t until signing with Matador in 2015 that his catalogue was condensed into two records, first Teens of Style and then last year’s universally acclaimed Teens of Denial.

Car Seat Headrest play the Rosemount Hotel on Sunday, February 25. Tickets on sale 9am Monday, November 20.
