Lookout festival brings alt rock legends to Kings Park
Alternative rock festival Lookout is heading to Perth with one of its biggest lineups yet.
The outdoor festival run opens at Kings Park & Botanic Garden on Thursday, March 4, before continuing on to Adelaide, Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane, among other regional stops.
The tour is co-headlined by touring powerhouses LIVE and Grammy Award-winning winners Stone Temple Pilots and supported by local Victorian bands The Living End and Magic Dirt. Not making the trip to Perth are 4 Non Blondes, who are co-headlining the remainder of the tour.
LIVE’s catalogue lives on classic rock radio, including gems like Lightning Crashes, I Alone, All Over You and Lakini’s Juice. They have earned two number one albums (Throwing Copper and Secret Samadhi) and have sold 23 million albums worldwide, with the platinum release The Distance to Here launching the band to international stardom and into stadium touring.
Stone Temple Pilots are similarly successful, having sold 70 million albums since their debut in 1992. Grammy Award- winning single Plush dominated the airwaves and the Billboard 200 chart upon release, along with hits Sex Type Thing and Wicked Garden. Their latest release, 2020’s Perdida, introduced new lead singer Jeff Gutt to fans.
Lookout are also bringing a lineup of The Fray, Bastille, Dashboard Confessional and Little Birdy to Kings Park & Botanic Garden on Sunday, February 7.
Lookout festival hits Kings Park & Botanic Garden on Thursday, March 4, 2027. Tickets are on sale on Wednesday, October 7, at lookouttour.com.au
