Jamie Hutchings, best known as the frontman of legendary Australian indie act Bluebottle Kiss hits Perth this weekend. He is touring in support of Bedsit, his fifth solo release and first in seven years. You can catch Hutchings at two special shows at Four5Nine Bar on Saturday, April 7 and Mojos Bar on Sunday, April 8.
Recorded in an old shearing shed on a property outside of Bathurst, Bedsit is a gritty and captivating display of Hutching’s raw vocals and vivid storytelling. The stark recording is bolstered with the sounds of Rueben Willis on bass, backing vocals and piano by Sophie Hutchings, Mark Moldre on harmonica and Jay Kong on violin.
