In support of his debut album The Cure to Loneliness, Jai Wolf has taken his synthesiser all around the world. Now the dream-pop and electronica artist is bringing his atmospheric music to Australia, ending the Aussie leg of the tour at Jack Rabbit Slims on Saturday, November 16. Joining Wolf on the tour is Brisbane-based, electronic artist Golden Vessel and Perth-based electronic-pop artist Priscilla.
Sajeeb Saha, professionally known as Jai Wolf, was initially discovered by Skrillex after finding Wolf’s remix of one of Skrillex’s tracks, Ease My Mind. Since then, the New York City based artist has produced music that inhabits EDM, synth-pop, dream-pop, indie, electronic, chillwave, orchestral symphonies and everything in between. His debut album, The Cure to Loneliness, encapsulates all of this.It took Wolf two years to complete the album, and was released earlier this year in April.
Despite being discovered, the 2015 track Indian Summer had skyrocketed his career; garnering over ten million streams, being used in the soundtrack for the movie XOXO and in a GoPro commercial. The song brought him fans worldwide, and will be one of the many tracks that will be performed on the tour.
