Jack Johnson brings SURFILMUSIC down under with Ben Harper and John Butler
Multi-platinum Hawaiian musician Jack Johnson is set to join forces with Californian folk rocker Ben Harper and Aussie blues rock legend John Butler for Johnson’s SURFILMUSIC Tour, heading down under this year.
The SURFILMUSIC Tour marks Johnson’s long-awaited return to the road since 2022, hitting Kings Park and Botanic Gardens on Tuesday, November 10, with additional shows in Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne.
The tour also celebrates a new era of music, film and environmental connection with Johnson’s new documentary, SURFILMUSIC, set for worldwide release on Friday, May 15, chronicling Johnson’s evolution from surfer to filmmaker to world-renowned musician.
Fans can expect to hear tracks from Johnson’s chart-topping catalogue spanning over twenty years, including Better Together, Flake, Inaudible Melodies and Taylor, as well as new tracks from the forthcoming SURFILMUSIC soundtrack, scored by Jack Johnson and Hermanos Gutiérrez.
Johnson will be joined by 3x Grammy Award-winning singer-songwriter Ben Harper onstage, known for his hits Burn One Down and Steal My Kisses.
West Aussie singer-songwriter John Butler will also join Johnson on tour, performing tracks from his catalogue spanning over twenty-five years, such as Zebra and Better Than.
Over twenty-five years, musician and surfer Jack Johnson has released eight studio albums and three live albums that have sold over 25 million copies worldwide. He previously won a BRIT Award for International Breakthrough Act in 2006, has been nominated for two Grammys, and has donated over $40 million to charity since 2001 using proceeds from his albums and tour profits. Johnson has also secured festival slots at Cali Vibes, Surfestival and Falls Music Festival.
