Food lovers rejoice! Annual food festival Eat Drink Perth kicks off around the city today. With over 70 venues involved there is no better time to hit the town and get a taste for some of Perth’s freshest and best culinary wonders. Restaurants and bars are serving up special menus, discount deals and fun events to bring your inner foodie to life.
Lord Mayor Lisa Scaffidi said the four week program gives festival fanatics and food fanciers reason to rejoice. “Eat Drink Perth is a celebration of event dining, offering a slice of Perth’s latest hotspots and trends to refresh your palette.”
The city is expecting around 100,000 visitors to attend the festival that runs from 13 March – 9 April 2017. Complimentary to the awesome experiences offered by the venues, there are also a number of free events like cooking classes and food-themed movies played on the big screen at Northbridge Piazza.
“This refreshed Eat Drink Perth campaign is more inclusive by design, with updated categories reflecting the demand for a gastronomic experience, no matter your tastes or budget,” Ms Scaffidi said. “Whether you live or work in the City, or visit once every so often, there’s something for everyone at Eat Drink Perth 2017.”
