Eddie Izzard revisits career highlights with The Remix Tour Live
UK comedian Eddie Izzard is bringing The Remix Tour Live down under this year, giving audiences a chance to experience Eddie remixing and reimagining some of her own favourite, personal comedy highlights.
Ever wondered what became of Darth Vader and Mr. Stevens or the monkey in the tree? Did the pears ever ripen… and will God ever appear? It’s a glorious chance to ‘maybe’ find out the answers or discover more questions to those Izzard conundrums when the tour hits our stages later this year.
Kicking off at the Sydney Opera House, the tour hits major cities across Australia and New Zealand before wrapping up at Perth’s Riverside Theatre on Wednesday, December 10.
Actor, comedian, and multi-marathon runner Eddie Izzard’s career spans 35 years of record-breaking comedy tours and critically acclaimed film, TV, and theatre performances.
“In the first 35 years of my stand-up career, I came up with many weird and crazy comedy stories,” said Izzard. “The ones I like the best will be in my 2025 live Remix Tour.”
Her sell-out comedy shows stretch from The Ambassadors in 1993 to Wunderbar in 2019, with this tour promising to be a journey spanning all these years of talking thought-provoking nonsense.
Izzard made her West End stage debut in 1993 in her show Live at the Ambassadors, receiving an Olivier Award nomination for Outstanding Achievement. This was followed by a succession of critically acclaimed shows, including Unrepeatable, Definite Article, Glorious, Dress to Kill, Circle, Sexie and Stripped, Force Majeure and Wunderbar.
Eddie Izzard’s The Remix Tour Live is hitting Riverside Theatre on Wednesday, December 10. Tickets are on sale Friday, August 15, 2025, from bohmpresents.com
