Descendents bring Everything Sucks 30th anniversary celebrations down under

SoCal punk royalty Descendents will be returning to Australia this June for their Run Down Under ’26 tour, celebrating 30 years since the release of their legendary album, Everything Sucks. The punk rock four-piece will bring the tour to Perth’s Astor Theatre on Tuesday, June 9.

Released in 1996, Everything Sucks stands as a cornerstone not just in the Descendents’ discography but in the sound and spirit of punk rock they’ve helped shape since forming in 1978. The record distilled the band’s trademark urgency, melody, and straight-to-the-point attitude that continues to influence generations.

While the tour celebrates the album’s anniversary with plenty of its standout tracks, fans can also expect a wide-ranging set pulling from across the band’s career, featuring live favourites that have earned Descendents their reputation as one of punk’s most enduring and respected bands.

Descendants’ Run Down Under ’26 tour hits Astor Theatre on Tuesday, June 9, 2026. Tickets are on sale Friday, February 6 from sbmpresents.com
