Poison the Well announce first Aussie tour since 2009
Florida metalcore heavyweights Poison the Well are hitting our shores for the first time in 16 years. Joined by special guests Haywire, the long-awaited tour kicks off at Perth’s Magnet House on Sunday, June 7.
The band are touring in celebration of their first new album since 2009, Peace In Place, which is due out Friday, March 20.
Caustically fluent in shifting between brutality and beauty, the Poison the Well’s 1999 debut The Opposite Of December helped define modern metalcore and left a lasting mark on heavy music. Now after reuniting following a long hiatus, the band arrive fresh off a huge run of headline shows last year in North America, the UK and Europe.
Hailing from Boston, Haywire are evolving into one of the most buzzed-about groups on the scene. Whether stomping on tracks like Like a Train or swaggering with thrash and shifts on Get to Steppin, the group continue to win fans across the world with their dizzying blend of guttural hardcore and searing authenticity.
Poison the Well hit Magnet House on Sunday, June 7, 2026. Tickets are on sale Monday, February 9 from destroyalllines.com
