Clown Core’s sonic circus rolls into Perth

Genre-bending cult act Clown Core will bring their debut Australian tour to The Rechabite on Tuesday, June 10.

An anonymous duo hailing from Nevada in the USA, Clown Core are an experimental and mysterious cult act recognised for their unique fusion of jazz, extreme metal and absurdist mayhem. Known for their cryptic online presence, their 2008 debut, Surreal Cereal, quickly established them as a band that twists experimental arrangements into their own and defies categorisation.

In the years since, Clown Core have gone on to release three albums—Clown Core, Toilet and Van—and perform at Coachella music festival.

The duo’s Australian tour also includes shows in Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne, and Dark Mofo festival in Hobart.
