Butch Springsteen saddles up: G Flip gallops home for 2026 Dream Ride tour
ARIA Award-winning artist G Flip will return to Australia next year for their Dream Ride tour. Taking place across major Australian cities in early 2026, the tour lands at Fremantle Arts Centre on Saturday, March 14.
The Melbourne-born, LA-based singer, songwriter, drummer, and producer will perform across the country as the final leg of their world tour. G Flip will be joined by Canadian rock outfit The Beaches and Australian singer and actor Ayesha Madon, best known for her lead role in Netflix’s Heartbreak High.
The announcement comes ahead of G Flip’s third studio album, Dream Ride, which is due for release on Friday, September 5. Fans are told they can expect a “bold sonic shift” on the new record, as G Flip embraces 80s-inspired textures while continuing their confessional lyrical style. It features previously released singles Disco Cowgirl, Big Ol’ Hammer, and the newly released In Another Life.
Known for playing nearly every instrument on their records, G Flip’s new album introduces a fresh creative persona, Butch Springsteen, inspired by late-night drives through Los Angeles and the drama of classic arena rock. Dream Ride follows the success of 2023’s DRUMMER, which debuted at No. 1 on the ARIA Charts and was named Album of the Year by triple j.
“I am so excited to be coming home to play some shows with my mates The Beaches and Ayesha Madon! The Dream Ride Tour is going to be a bloody good time, can’t wait to see you there!” G Flip said upon revealing the tour news.
Supporting act, The Beaches, rose to global prominence in 2023 with their viral hit Blame Brett, which amassed over 115 million streams and 20 million video views.
Ayesha Madon, who will open each show, brings her own blend of pop artistry and screen presence. In addition to her music career, Madon has received acclaim for her portrayal of Amerie in Heartbreak High, a role that helped establish her as a rising star in Australian entertainment.
G Flip’s Dream Ride tour hits Fremantle Arts Centre on Saturday, March 14, 2026. Tickets go on sale Monday, July 21, from oztix.com
