Bachelor Girl are Waiting for the Day they hit Perth

Australian pop duo Bachelor Girl have announced they are hitting the road with their Waiting for the Day Redux Tour 2027, a 30-date run spanning six states across March, April and May.

Following a sold-out capital city tour in 2026, the duo are taking their fourth album, Waiting for the Day: Artist Sessions, on the road. The album is an inspired reimagining of their original 1998 debut record, now featuring celebrated Australian and New Zealand artists such as Delta Goodrem, Guy Sebastian, Jessica Mauboy, and more.

Bachelor Girl will hit the Rosemount Hotel on Saturday, May 22, and the River Hotel, Margaret River, on Sunday, May 23. They will also stop in New South Wales, Victoria, the ACT, Tasmania, Queensland, and South Australia.

Fans can expect revised classics from the album, including Buses and Trains, Treat Me Good, Lucky Me and more.

“Many of the towns on this run are places we’ve never played headline shows before,” said lead singer Tania Doko. “Bringing our redux ‘Artist Sessions’ project to uncharted territory is the ultimate sonic expedition—to every corner of Oz. The creation of the album and the response to it has been nothing short of extraordinary. But James and I aren’t ready to file this under ‘great memories’ or let it gather dust. There’s still so much life in these songs.”

First released in 1998, Waiting for the Day earned the Melbourne duo an ARIA Award for Producer of the Year and a PPCA Award for Most Broadcasted Australian Artist, while its hit single Buses and Trains won the APRA Award for Song of the Year.

Bachelor Girl bring their Waiting For The Day Redux Tour to Rosemount Hotel on Saturday, May 22, and the River Hotel on Sunday, May 23, 2027. Tickets go on sale now from bachelorgirl.com
