Award-winning musician Emily Gelineau returns to Duke of George for a night of jazz
Award-winning jazz violinist and vocalist Emily Gelineau is set to return to the stage at Duke of George on Friday, June 19, for her last performance in Perth before heading overseas on tour.
Named as one of the festival highlights at the recent 2026 Fairbridge Festival, Gelineau is set to be joined by her stellar quartet on the night, with Danilo da Paz on guitars and accordion, Kane Shaw on bass and Chris Tarr on drums.
Audiences can expect a performance filled with a vibrant mix of jazz styles, spanning from the early era of gypsy jazz, through to Brazilian jazz, sultry French vocals and a trip to a tango club in Buenos Aires.
Attendees can purchase either a dining table ticket, with an à la carte menu available all evening, or a bar stool ticket, with bar snacks available.
Originally from Perth, Emily Gelineau is an award-winning violinist, pianist, vocalist, composer and arranger who is known for interpreting modern styles of music from jazz to country and pop to rock. Her show, Tea for Two – A Tribute to Stephane Grappelli, won the Music & Musicals Award at Fringe World 2024 and earned five stars in 2025.
Emily has performed live and recorded with influential artists across the globe, most recently recording violin for the 8-Bit Big Band on their 2022 Grammy-winning arrangement of Metaknight’s Revenge.
