Ashanti brings her Rock Wit U Tour to Australian shores

Fresh off a successful UK arena tour with Sean Paul, GRAMMY Award-winning singer-songwriter and actress Ashanti is set to return to Australian shores this November.

The musician is set to kick off her Rock Wit U Tour at Riverside Theatre on Monday, November 9, before heading to Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane.

The upcoming tour, named after her lead single Rock Wit U (Awww Baby) from her 2003 Chapter II album, will see Ashanti perform hit tracks from across her six-album catalogue, including Foolish, Only U, Rain On Me and Baby.

“Australia has always shown me so much love, and I’m so excited to be coming back for my Rock Wit U tour,” Ashanti said. “The energy, the fans, the memories—it’s always so amazing. I can’t wait to rock with you all!”

Ashanti has maintained her status as a genre champion since her debut, self-titled album, which launched her to global stardom in 2002. The album earned her the #1 spot on the Billboard Top 200 and R&B Charts and became the fastest-selling debut album by a female in history.

Ashanti has also received a GRAMMY Award and numerous Billboard Music Awards, and in April 2022, she received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. The artist has also secured festival slots at JuicyFest, Atlanta Funk Fest and R&B Brunch Festival.
