Ever almost forget to interview the lead guitarist from a band you really dig because you got too carried away whizzing around office works on office chairs? Well that’s what I did. Although my awkwardness knows no bounds, I managed to glide (stumble nervously) through a chat with Seamus Coyle from Sticky Fingers.
When I spoke to Seamus, he and the Sticky Fingers gang were out and about in their home town of Sydney, having jam sessions with The Delta Riggs boys which sounds like a jamboree I’d love to witness.
The boys have a busy time ahead of them with their three week European tour kicking off on the 17th of August. They will be back on Aussie soil briefly before flying over to Canada and America. Rest assured, there will be plenty of love left for Australia when they begin their Westway (The Glitter And The Slums) national tour.
Seamus indicates their forth coming album was inspired by some turbulent times in the band due to, let’s say, a more ‘rock and roll” lifestyle. They guarantee to “bring the ruckus” on tour and the feel good rock-reggae vibes will be flowing at Southbound. Listen out for their album Westway (The Glitter And The Slums) set to be released September 30th.
