One of the most loved Australian groups of all-time, The Go-Betweens will be releasing the boxset G Stands For Go-Betweens – Volume 1, 1978-1984. The set captures the band’s output and origins from 1978 through 1984, featuring four vinyl albums and four compact discs. The release will also include a 112-page book with photos and extensive historical liner notes from founding member Robert Forster, along with additional pieces from guest essayists, fans and contemporaries. Additionally, their best singles, unreleased demos, radio sessions and a complete live radio broadcast from 1982 will be among the things to find in the boxset. G Stands For Go-Betweens – Volume 1, 1978-1984 is set to be released in January, 2015.
