The inaugural Emirates British Film Festival 2014 runs at the Cinema Paradiso from November 5 – 16 and is well worth your time and money. For one thing: no subtitles, if that’s important to you. For another, the roster of films this year is simply incredible, including not only the war epic Testament Of Youth and the Alan Turing biopic The Imitation Game, starring Benedict Cumberbatch, but also Six From The ‘60s, a selection of hugely influential British cinema from that decade, including Zulu, If… and A Hard Day’s Night.
