What do Eskimo Joe, The Vines, Jebediah, Grinspoon and The Vasco Era have in common? They’re all past winners of the National Campus Bands Competition!
NCBC has been running on Australian University and TAFE campuses for 22 years through the Australian Association of Campus Activities Inc., providing up-and-coming bands with a platform for live music exposure and an opportunity for media and record label attention.
Each year, up to 400 bands from over 40 institutions compete to be crowned winners of the NCBC.
With entrants from Curtin, UWA and ECU, the 2014 WA Semi Finals will be held at Ya Ya’s across three nights from August 26-28 with the WA final being held at the Rosemount on Saturday, September 13.
The WA final winner will go on to compete in the National Finals in Sydney as did WA’s own Runner who went on to be the overall winner in 2011!
