
Tina Arena takes iconic album Don’t Ask on the road for 30th anniversary celebrations
Australian pop icon Tina Arena is set to celebrate the 30th Anniversary of her iconic album, Don’t Ask, with a national tour. The Don’t Ask Again Tour will see bring album hits like Chains, Wasn’t It Good, and Sorrento Moon (I Remember) to stages across the country, including Perth’s Riverside Theatre on Sunday, April 27.
Australian Idol winner Dylan Wright will support Tina Arena for the full run of dates, which also includes shows in Sydney, Penrith, Newcastle, Melbourne, Cairns, Brisbane, Gold Coast and Adelaide.
Released in 1994, Don’t Ask became one of Australia’s highest-selling albums of all time, and its hit single Chains has since been selected as one of ten extraordinary audio recordings added to the National Film & Sound Archive’s unique Sounds of Australia collection. The National Film and Sound Archive collects sound recordings for inclusion in Australia’s audiovisual archive, creating a continuous record of Australian culture.
