Great Scott! Girls School Cinema are set to re-acquaint us with Marty, Doc, Biff and more in a special Back to the Future Marathon on Saturday, September 21. It’s sure to be a fan favourite amongst the eclectic program of blockbuster and classic films on show this winter, bought to you by the team behind FRINGE WORLD Festival and Rooftop Movies.
Not only will they be showing all three Back to the Future films, there will also be the opportunity to participate in an 80’s dress-up competition in which the best dressed will win a double pass to the upcoming season of Rooftop Movies. Fans are asked to post a pic to their instagram story at the marathon and tag @girlsschoolcinema to enter the draw.
Girls School Cinema is housed in the historical Old Perth Girls School, which operated as a school from 1936 until 1962. More than just a cinema, it offer patrons the opportunity to toast marshmallows over a fire pit, treat themselves to mulled wine and pizza and snuggle up for the night like it was friend’s lounge room.
The Girls School Cinema 2019 winter season runs from May 17 to October 12 every Wednesday to Sunday.
