World premieres and fan favourites: Fringe World returns with dazzling 2025 program
Perth’s iconic Fringe World festival returns this summer, bringing a dazzling celebration of everything spectacular, fantastical, and unforgettably Fringe to Perth from Friday, January 17 to Sunday, February 16, 2025.
The 2025 Festival program has dropped online and is packed with new acts, fan favourites, and an array of unexpected, exhilarating experiences. Starting today, Fringe Friends get First Dibs exclusive early access before tickets go on sale to the general public on Thursday, November 21.
“Fringe World festival is all about igniting Perth with creativity and joy,” said ARTRAGE CEO Jo Thomas. “This year’s program is packed with an incredible variety—from comedy and circus to theatre and cabaret—promising unforgettable experiences for all. We can’t wait to share it with Perth and watch audiences come alive with Fringe energy!”
This summer, the festival will light up stages in 18 Perth metro councils, stretching everywhere from Joondalup to Rockingham to Kalamunda. The City of Perth remains the Fringe epicentre, hosting the largest number of venues and performances in the festival line-up.
In the city, everyone’s favourite summer playground, The Pleasure Garden, is back with a huge schedule of showstoppers alongside flagship venues, including The Rechabite, State Theatre Centre, The Ellington Jazz Club, The Laugh Resort, His Majesty’s Theatre and Ice Cream Factory.
The suburbs will also come alive, with jam-packed programs on offer at Fremantle Comedy Club, Lyric’s Underground in Maylands, Subiaco Arts Centre and venues across Rockingham.
Featuring over 500 shows, this year’s program includes more than 190 world premieres, 30+ Australian premieres, 80+ state premieres, and over 300 new performances gracing the Fringe World stage.
“Fringe is something that I look forward to every year—it never fails to delight and entertain,” said Western Australian Culture and Arts Minister David Templeman. “The best bit about Fringe is seeing the city and some of our outer metropolitan areas activated and alive; it is part of what makes summer so special.”
