Audiences, critics and colleagues will attest Jacques Barrett – self described “Comedian, Actress and Writerer” – is one of Australia’s most highly skilled in the artform of stand-up comedy. The Queenslander is bringing the joy to Perth Comedy Festival in Lowest Common Dominator, with three shows at the Hellenic Club of WA from Thursday, May 10 to Saturday, May 12.
Intelligent and affable, Jacques tours to massive popular acclaim on the festival circuit and around the world, connecting with people of all walks and cultures live and face to face – the way he likes it – leaving little time for media stardom (though he wouldn’t discount it). We caught up with Jacques Barrett to learn all about him and his new show in our interview this week, which you can check out here.
