Treat yourself to two of Asia-Pacific’s most distinguished jazz artists in their first Perth performance together as the acclaimed Michael Pigneguy Quartet welcomes internationally renowned Singaporean vocalist Alemay Fernandez.
Fernandez’s extraordinary credentials include performing with Davis Foster, Gregory Porter and Wynton Marsalis’ Jazz at Lincoln Centre Orchestra. As the only Asian singer to perform with the world’s premier jazz orchestra including The Count Basie and Duke Ellington Orchestras, she delivers “sultry tone and powerhouse vocals.”
The evening will feature two original compositions debuting live, showcasing world-class artistry spanning modern bop, soul jazz, and sobering ballads.
