Wage War roar through Australia with It Calls Me By Name album tour
Floridian metalcore juggernauts Wage War are bringing their It Calls Me By Name album tour to Australia this July and August, hitting Freo.Social on Thursday, July 30.
Celebrating the release of their new EP, It Calls Me By Name, the tour will also stop in Adelaide, Melbourne, Brisbane, and Sydney. Released on Friday, April 17, the five-track release is inspired by their home state of Florida and features new singles, Song of the Swamp, 4×4, and Blindfold, which fans can expect to hear live on stage during the tour.
The band will be joined on stage by special guests, Nashville metalcore legends Orthodox and Melbourne heavy metal band HeavensGate, for all dates.
Formed in 2010 and led by vocalist Briton Bond, Wage War have cultivated a reputation for their melodic metalcore sound and lyrical themes of mental health, introspection and perseverance. They have collaborated with acts such as Asking Alexandria, Slipknot and Nevertel and hit #1 on the Billboard Mainstream Rock Airplay Chart with their 2024 single Magnetic. They have also performed at major festivals such as Knotfest Australia, Aftershock Festival and the Vans Warped Tour.
