WA artists invited to step into the spotlight as Live Takes returns for 2026

BASE MGMT have announced the return of Live Takes in 2026, the hybrid live gig and video series that made waves earlier this year with its unique blend of performance, production and community-focused artist support.

Set to run from January to March, Live Takes will once again make a splash across the city, with three line-ups featuring nine of Perth’s most exciting emerging acts.

The perks for successful acts will include a professionally filmed and mixed live video of a song of their choice completely free of charge, along with a paid performance slot at one of the upcoming shows on Saturday, January 17, Saturday, February 21 or Saturday, March 28.

Expressions of interest are open now until 5pm Monday, November 24, with original WA bands and artists encouraged to apply and share their work.
