Imperatore to unleash new album at Polyrhythmia II prog-metal showcase

Polyrhythmia will return to Northbridge for its second edition this summer, bringing some of Perth’s best heavy prog acts to Lynott’s Lounge on Friday, December 19. Perth heavyweights Imperatore are set to headline the event, with fellow locals Outcome Variables, Lotus and Ammify also performing on the night.

The night marks a major milestone for Imperatore as they bring their third full-length album, The Lionspirit, to life with a live on-stage debut and official release. This launch follows the band’s recent October release of their first single and video, Be A Man, which offered fans an early glimpse into the sound and spirit of the upcoming record. The track sets the tone for Imperatore’s most ambitious work to date. Arriving Friday, December 19, via Rockshots Records, The Lionspirit is set to elevate Imperatore’s artistry once again.

In what’s set to be a big night for the local metal scene, Outcome Variables are also set to unveil their new single, Neon Genesis, while Ammify will be unleashing their new single, The Reasoning.

With multiple single launches and a major album premiere on one stage, Polyrhythmia II promises an end-of-year showcase of Perth’s heavy music scene.
