VANCE JOY Saturday sun in Busselton

Multi-award-winning Australian singer-songwriter Vance Joy has announced The Long Way Home Tour, his biggest Australian tour to date, performing with his full band at outdoor venues across the country including a date at Busselton’s Barnard Park on Saturday, November 12, 2022.

Vance Joy will be joined by special guests The Rubens, Middle Kids, Budjerah, Mia Wray and more at the all-ages event.

The tour announcement comes off the back of Vance Joy’s five ARIA Award nominations, including Best Artist, Best Pop Release for his latest hit, Missing Piece, and Song of the Year.

“I’ve been talking about doing a tour like this one for years, so it’s incredibly exciting that it’s becoming a reality. I love touring in Australia and can’t wait to really explore the country on this extended tour, playing not just the cities but also the regional areas too,” Vance Joy said. “I’m also pumped that I get to go on the road with some of my favourite artists…It’s been way too long since I’ve been on tour in Australia so I cannot wait to reconnect with everyone again and play some new songs as well as the favourites.”

One of Australia’s finest contemporary singer-songwriters, Vance Joy has had two number one albums – 2014’s Dream Your Life Away and 2018’s Nation of Two. He has won two ARIA awards and 10 of his songs are now ARIA-certified platinum or multi-platinum, including his breakout hit Riptide, which is currently 12x platinum. Riptide also topped triple j’s Hottest 100 and was APRA’s Song of the Year in 2014.

Vance Joy’s The Long Way Home Tour hits Busselton’s Barnard Park on Saturday, November 12, 2022. Tickets go on sale Friday, November, 12 from moshtix.com.au
