Ukrainian metal titans Jinjer annouce Australian tour

Ukrainian metal act Jinjer are returning to Australia this summer, and they are bringing Canadian metal legends Kittie along for the ride.

The tour kicks off in Brisbane and hits Sydney, Melbourne and Adelaide before landing at Metropolis Fremantle on Friday, February 28.

Led by vocalist Tatiana Shmayluk, Jinjer blend metalcore, djent, hardcore, and groove metal with progressive elements to create a style uniquely their own, exemplified in fan favourites like Sit Stay Roll OverHome BackCall Me A Symbol and Pisces. The band will arrive with material from their latest studio album, 2021’s Wallflowers, which broke charts worldwide and saw the group consistently tour globally.

Sharing the stage with them is none other than the trailblazing Kittie, who have returned after a 13-year hiatus. Crashing onto the scene in 1999 with their debut album Spit, Kittie evolved beyond their nu-metal origins, developing a crushing, full-fledged metal sound across six albums. On their first Australian tour since 2012, Kittie will arrive armed with a new album, Fire.

Jinjer and Kittie play Metropolis Fremantle on Friday, February 28, 2025. Tickets are on sale Friday, October 4 from livenation.com.au
