Turnstyle are set to return, playing two shows with 6s & 7s in May. The two legendary and much-loved WA acts will play at 459 Bar at the Rosemount on Friday, May 18 and Port Beach Garden Bar on Sunday, May 20 which will be an afternoon, all ages show.
After taking a year off the stage to work on their fourth album, the second since returning from haitus in 2013, Turnstyle are set to return with a batch of songs from “2 months ago, 2 years ago and 20 years ago”.
Joining them are the 6s & 7s, brainchild of Perth songwriter Josh Fontaine who are putting the finishing touches to their own record. They will be playing new songs flanked by tracks from 2010 Perth favourite Choose The Sentinel Blooze.
The Sours are a relatively new band featuring the songs of songwriter Chris Mason and the chugging rhythm section of Em Burrows (Web Rumours) and Dee Kerimofski (The Community Chest).
Turnstyle and 6s & 7s play 459 Bar on Friday, May 18 and Port Beach Garden Bar (AA) on Sunday, May 20.
