1. Local launches
As usual, Perth’s emerging bands are churning out the goods, with launches this week coming from Mt Cleverest, The Milkmen, Delilah Rose & the Gunslingers and Tristen Bird.
2. Mamma Mia: The Musical
The Aussie adaptation of a beloved ABBA musical is playing at Crown until July 1. Check out the dates and showtimes here.
3. Pseudo Echo
Known for their track Listening and their sick cover of Funky Town, ’80s legends Pseudo Echo are in town. Catch them at the Northshore Tavern on Friday, June 8, and the Charles Hotel on Saturday, June 9.
4. Katy Steele
She’s been quiet for a while, but the Little Birdy front-woman is taking to the town solo this month. Catch her at The Backlot on Wednesday, June 13.
5. Sarah Blasko
Yet another leading lady on the Aussie music scene, Blasko will be heading down to the Rosemount Hotel on Thursday, June 14 with band in tow this time after her successful solo tour last year.
