These New South Whales announce WA dates for Godspeed Tour

Melbourne-based punk rock band These New South Whales are bringing their critically acclaimed new album, GODSPEED, to WA with three shows announced at the Indian Ocean Hotel, Froth Craft Brewery, Bunbury, and The River, Margaret River, from Friday, March 27, to Sunday, March 29.

Released late last year, GODSPEED debuted at #4 on the ARIA Australian Album Charts, marking a major milestone for the band with standout tracks including Instinct, Miss Her, Godspeed, and Big Machine. Their fifth album to date, GODSPEED captures the band—featuring Jamie Timony on vocals alongside Todd Andrews (guitar), Will Shepherd (bass) and Frank Sweet (drums)—at their most confident, pairing sharp songwriting with their trademark punk urgency.

Speaking about the album’s title track, Timony offered a personal insight into its origins: “I, like many artists, don’t particularly like to prescribe the meaning of any song. But for me personally, the lyrics to Godspeed were drawn from my experience of how joyous it felt to leave Alcoholics Anonymous after nine years inside of it.”

These New South Whales will play at multiple venues in WA from Friday, March 27, to Sunday, March 29, 2026. Tickets are on sale now from thesenewsouthwhales.com
