The Mind Warp Pavilion brings star power to tenth annual Bowie celebration

An all-star lineup of Australian artists will join forces to pay tribute to music icon David Bowie as the Mind Warp Pavilion returns to Freo.Social for its tenth year this Saturday, January 10.

The night will feature four sets of Bowie favourites, anchored by a special presentation of Station to Station featuring choir and string arrangements.

With music curated by Greg Dear and the night MC’d by Bob Gordon, the event features a 44-strong lineup of artists offering their own distinctive takes on Bowie’s vast catalogue, including Malcolm Clark, Kirsty Hulka, Rose Parker, Laith Tierney, Steve Gibson and more. Together they represent a blend of familiar favourites and returning contributors whose performances have helped shape Mind Warp Pavilion across the years.

On what would have been The Starman’s 79th birthday, Thursday, January 8, The Backlot is also set to screen the two films Bowie starred in, The Hunger and Merry Christmas Mr Lawrence. Tickets are available on eventbrite.com.

David Bowie left this world ten years ago, on January 10, 2016, and the Mind Warp Pavilion continues to honour his legacy and his profound influence on music and the arts with this special annual event.

The Mind Warp Pavilion 10 hits Freo.Social on Saturday, January 10, 2026. Tickets are on sale now from moshtix.com.au
